- 🧊 **Git panel freeze + restart loop** ([#376](https://github.com/omdsh-dev/DSH-better-sidebar/pull/376), fixes [#369](https://github.com/omdsh-dev/DSH-better-sidebar/issues/369)): opening the Source Control panel could freeze the whole page, and the frozen layout restored itself after every reload with no way out — three unbounded layers compounding, now all bounded: **① status truncation** — the `git status --untracked-files=all` response is capped at 2,000 entries (capped results carry `truncated` and the panel shows a notice, mirroring `fs.read`'s truncation semantics; worktree change counts inherit the bound), so a huge untracked set can no longer freeze the browser main thread; **② bounded repository discovery** — a non-repository cwd (e.g. the home directory) no longer probes every visible child directory serially without limit: probe timeout 30s→5s, at most 200 probed directories, concurrent requests share one in-flight scan plus a 60s TTL cache, ending the `git rev-parse` spawn storm under `~`; **③ reset escape hatch** — loading with `?dsh-sidebar-reset` drops the persisted layout (shared width included) and starts from the default, breaking the loop even when the page is already hung; persisting resumes once the param is gone; `statusTruncated` copy synced across all 19 dictionaries
